Seoul Food

Last night (and my last night in Dakar), I decided to try Le Mex which is supposed to be a restaurant by day, bar by night. But it looked as if it were only bar by night. So I wandered the Pompidiou area looking for someplace else to eat.

I settled a nice looking Korean restaurant called Seoul. It has a nice courtyard with a little pool (for koi?) and indoor seating in the back. I went back. The waiter took my beer order and a girl aimed a fan right at me which was very refreshing. I was the only customer in the place so I enjoyed the peace and my beer while I waited for my food--cold noodles with some vegetables and the assortment of side dishes they bring you. I got another beer and just sat there thinking about life, love, Africa, what the hell I'm doing here, and all the other equally depressing topics.

The total came to 7200 CFA or US$14.
