Last Artequin Dose

Well, it's about 5pm so that means my last dose of artequin.  I'll never know now if what I had was malaria or not.  I was surprised by the number of people so concerned when they heard.  Or actually, I shouldn't say I was surprised.  After all, I didn't really know much about the prognosis.  All the warnings sounded scary, but people have been warning me about stuff since I decided to come on this trip.  You'd have to be really unlucky to die from it.  I guess it's a problem for those who don't the extra $8 to use every single time they get sick.

Anyway, I went out for a walk and found the bank that issues the money used in many of the countries around here.  I'm all for common currencies.  I love the Euro.  I wish the Euro were taken everywhere in Europe.  The CFA is nice too.  Maybe the countries that should use the CFA will adopt it.  Such as Gambia, Ghana, and Guinea.  What is it they think--if their name starts with a G, they're too good for the CFA?
