We are going to delay our trip by a day. Elena, for reasons I never understood, decided to stay at her company until the day before we were scheduled to leave. So she never had a full day to just get all the little stuff organized. Luckily, Lisa, who is taking the apartment, won't be here until 3 or 4 today, so Elena can organize.
Because Elena is so organized, it turns out that she has much more stuff than it looks like. Every nook and cranny is a sardine can that once unpacked by a mortal irrevocably expands to 3 times its previous volume. That makes moving hard.
So we are going to stay for one more day to finish up, and then head out tomorrow.
