I saved up a bunch of posts and posted them. Part way through my connection went down. Anyway, some will be somewhat shocking to some readers. Reader discretion is advised. I posted several posts that I wroe while drinking a bottle of wine in my hotel room. I wrote things that normally only go into my journal. But they are the human condition. They are me even they are shocking. They are truth.

I've continued to enjoy your posts, Mark. I was so excited for you when you met Mlle. X, too. ;) Now if you'd only post some pics! :)
I guess you will be returning to the States in a few weeks? What a journey; really have enjoyed following your trip this entire year.

Thank you very much. Yep, I'll return in just a few days. Then unwind and then see if I can find work in the sucky economy. Hopefully there is still a demand for experienced embedded systems engineers in Seattle.
I might post a picture but with her face blurred out so she can't be recognized by the patrons of the restaurant where she works. I have a couple of good ones. :-)

Got me 2 offers and squeaked a few more bucks out of one of them. We lost a few java developers a while back - not sure if they are being replaced.
